Measure your existing hood baffle filters, record the measurements. Grease Lock filters are available in most industry standard sizes.

Configure your order by selecting the correlating sized Grease Lock Frames. Next select matching sized grease lock filters – Filters are sold in a case QTY of 40 filters per case. Reminder – don’t forget to add any additional accessories as needed.

Submit your order once you have selected the QTY and sizes of Grease Lock Frames and Filters. Click on the view cart button at the top of the screen. You will see an order summary and an order form. Complete the order form, then submit your order request.

How to Choose the Right Filter Size

Now that you know why hood filters are needed, the next step is to determine the correct size. If you’re purchasing filters for a new hood system, you will also need to figure out how many filters are required to fill the open hood space. These are the most common questions we receive so we’ve created several tools to make this as simple as possible.

Measuring Existing Hood Filters

Industry standard sizes are stated with the vertical (top to bottom) dimension first and the horizontal (left to right) dimension second. The baffles should run up and down (vertically) when taking these measurements (see diagram below).

Remember: Height First, Width Second.
Trade Size Actual Dimensions
10” x 16” 9-1/2” x 15-1/2”
10” x 20” 9-1/2” x 19-1/2”
16” x 16” 15-1/2” x 15-1/2”
16” x 20” 15-1/2” x 19-1/2”
20” x 16” 19-1/2” x 15-1/2”
20” x 20” 19-1/2” x 19-1/2”

NOTE: Always round up to the nearest ½”. Actual filter size is typically ½” smaller than the stated size. For example, if the actual filter size is 9 ½” x 15 ½”, you would order a 10 x 16 hood filter.

Measure height (up & down with the baffles) and width (across the baffles), then record quantity below.
